Climbing up to the fire tower offers 360 degree views of the Connecticut Lake region surrounding area. After a few pictures we went over to some cliff overlooks a little further down the trail. These looped back the summit and we started down from there.
We saw that there was another trail down the mountain called the Bobcat trail. So we decided to take it down. This trail had a nice view toward the the top. As we continued disown there were a lot of blowdowns many of which you need to brushback quite a ways around.
Over all this was a good hike and a fun ride in and out. The hike itself was pretty easy. The footing was solid and it did not take long to get the summit. A great hike for all levels of hikers.
