A quick trip up Mt. Agassiz to shoot some stars with my friend Eric. We arrived at the trail head in the dark. The air was chilly, and the sky was clear. Stars were just starting to come out as we started up the steep road to the top.

We got to the top the Milky Way was already in view. So we set up our equipment and started shooting. The first few shots were looking good. Then I shot a couple of long exposure photos.

All in all we were up there for a few hours. Got a some really cool shots until the moon started to rise and wash out some of the stars from the sky. This was a great location to shoot the Milky Way because of its dark skies and vast southern horizon.
