Another Beautiful Day At Stowe

Met up with some friends I had not seen in a while. Brian, Carey and I set out for a day of skiing.

Plan was to meet up at Stowe Mountain to ski for the day and then come home. It’s a long day but always worth it. Especially with good company. The three of us had not hung out in a while. It was nice to get together. FYI: It’s now $30 to park at Stowe.

Temps were in the 20’s so it was a little chilly but not too bad compared to all the sub zero temps we’ve had recently.

Brian and I met up in Bow, NH and rode up together and Carey met us up in Stowe since he was coming from a different direction.

Are timing was good.  We arrived within 15 minutes of each other. We got suited up and then realized that we were at the wrong lodge to get our ticket vouchers.

So after a walk down to the main lodge, we got our tickets and finished getting suited up.

The sky was a beautiful blue and the snow was perfect. We mostly stayed on blue trails. They ducked into the woods here and their but we stayed together through the day.

We meandered all over the mountain. There were some great views with an undercast at the top of the mountain. Stowe has some amazing views.

After some lunch we did a few more runs before calling it a day. We all met back in the parking lot and headed out back into town for some apps and a beer at Shakedown Street.

Anytime I get a chance to ski at Stowe, I’m in!
