Recently the the 52 With a View hiking list got updated. A few mountains were retired due to loosing their views and a few new ones were added.
Table Mountain in Bartlett, New Hampshire was one of the new mountains added. It was a short hike with low elevation gain so I decided to give it a try.
Parking was easy to find right off the road. But there was not much room so this might be a hit or miss. I don’t believe you can park in the street.

This was a 3.8 mi out and back. It started off nice and gentle got a little steeper around the one mile mark. As I continued to climb the trail runs across some open ledges with great views all the way up. There are a few steep sections with loose gravel so take care to watch your footing going down.
At the last view point there are some outstanding views of the Moats, Chocorua, and the Sandwich Range. I continued down the trail a little way to the official summit. There is a heard path about 100 feet past the viewpoint. This leads up the the viewless summit. It is marked with green painted on a pine tree.
I made my way back to the view point and had lunch. It was a nice place to have to my self. After lunch I continued down back to my car. I only encountered 1 group of three on my way up.
This is a smaller hike and a great first hike to bring someone on who has never hiked.
