Exploring some trailheads near Proctor Academy in Andover, New Hampshire. Off one of the side roads is Keniston Bridge.

Keniston Bridge was built in 1882 and spans 73 feet over the Blackwater River. The bridge was built with a Town Lattice Truss.

When I visited there was parking on both sides of the bridge. It was interesting to learn that this is one of the few surviving 19th century bridges that has its trusses exposed.

This bridge is still open to vehicle traffic and sits off a nice rail trail I would like to try out sometime.
